What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?
Sometimes I am up early, and I catch the 6:30am bus into town and have breakfast at McDonald’s. Alternatively, I go a bit later and breakfast in a pub (see photo).
When I return home, I have a shower and then dry my hair and I get dressed, which usually entails shorts and a t-shirt. Then I’ll potter about for a bit.
Sometimes I lay in till about 10 or 11am. On these days, I might skip breakfast and just have midday lunch. That’s about it.

“I’m going to tell you why I believe what I believe…
I believe that in the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, He gave man a choice. And just like today, man chose to be his own god. And when man chooses to be his own god, doors are opened that were never meant to be open. And in through those doors come powerful things, wreaking havoc on His creation on this earth.
None of these come from heaven. These things are powerful, too powerful for…
The only way that they can be dealt with is something more powerful than they. The only thing more powerful than they is something that can defeat death. The only thing that can defeat death is Jesus Christ, son of God. That’s the plan. Do you believe that? Yeah!”
Amen! 🙏🏼

Today, I painted the cupboard doors and drawer fronts. Tomorrow, I’m painting the tiles the same colour. Then we’re replacing the tired mustard colour with pale green emulsion paint. Should be good.

Which aspects do you think makes a person unique?
I think we’re all different, and that’s largely down to a combination of personality and character.

Our kitchen is small, but adequate. It’s the original from 1990. We wanted to upgrade. The options were 1, new units, etc at a cost of up to 10k, or 2. A tin of satin cupboard paint for £25. Guess which option won. Yep, the cupboard paint. 😁
