By 2013, it was looking like Apple were in the doldrums in respect of their pro-level designs for computers.

Then they sprang the completely unexpected Mac Pro 6,1.

It was a flop. For various reasons.

Now people say it is rubbish because it can’t do these things well…

  • Modern 3D games
  • Video editing and rendering

As if they were the only measures.

But I claim it is a good machine if you want to…

  • Word process
  • Spreadsheets
  • Calendar
  • Stream movies
  • Web browse
  • File manage
  • Print documents
  • Desktop publishing
  • Edit photos
  • Etc…

In 2013, the starting price was $3,000. I recently bought one for £175. What a bargain!

How big the gap is. Now I know if it’s AI or not. I’m not so good at identifying.🙈🤭

It’s better to say which. Transparency is good.

£175 for a machine that once cost $3,000? That is a pretty good find. Maybe the Mac Pro just needed a few years to become affordable.

It is! That’s right. And I’m glad to benefit from it. 👍🏻🙏🏻
