They’re great, but don’t run all the latest software. As well as MacOS, you can run Windows and Linux on them. Can act as a robust server. Mine cost £175.
A modern Mac Mini will run five times faster and consume a fifth of the electricity. But they’re nice to have nonetheless.

efficiency is what i was considering too. i have a mac mini and love it but prefer going the used route. so it’s either another used mac mini or a specc’d out unit like yours. decisions, decisions.
