What’s the best advice you’d give to someone younger than you?

According to Jesus, it’s the second greatest commandment after loving God.

Where we live is leasehold. A lease is a contract, an agreement. The lease says no external changes to the communal gardens. That means no removal of plants, no planting of plants, no sheds, no hardstandings, etc.

Since we’ve livd here, our neighbours have torn down a hedge, planted out an extensive flowerbed, erected a shed, and laid out some artificial grass.

One wonders which bit of ‘communal’ they don’t understand.

I asked Yvonne if she loved our neighbours. She looked puzzled and said ‘no’. So I said what about what Jesus said,,, love your neighbour. She realised what I was getting at. She said we must love our neighbours, but we don’t have to love what they do.

I think that’s a good distinction to be made.

Meanwhile, in other news… another box of cameras awaits uplifting. The total raised so far is 3.5k. Half is going to good causes.

I’m now down to eight cameras. I started off with nearly 100.

It’s good to downsize, it’s good feng shui.

Thanks for reading! 🙏🏻

I like Yvonne saying no honestly!🤭 We dislike that kind of neighbors who break the rule, but she has a good point: not to love their bad behavior.

Lots and lots of cameras find another owner. All the best, Little.

    Congratulations on your camera downsizing.

As Gandhi said, “Hate the sin and not the sinner” I agree with Yvonne.
