Mission 003

I was up in the early hours packing camera gear into a box. It’s been valued at just over £1k. This is on top of the £2k raised so far. Last night, I sent donations to 10 charities. With the next payment, I want to support some conflict zone charities. I’m thinking for Palestine, Ukraine…

Last night, I sent donations to 10 charities. With the next payment, I want to support some conflict zone charities. I’m thinking for Palestine, Ukraine and Iran.

As I said before, I don’t want brownie points and I’m not into virtue signalling. All glory to God. I consider it a privilege to be able to help.

A mention and a thank you to Hazel at Seven Sisters for being so inspirational. 🙏🏻

Yvo and I got a taxi into town to take camera gear box to drop off point. After that we popped into the Cafe Royale – sounds posh innit? – for some coffee and cake.

Yvonne had carrot cake, and I had coffee and walnut cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Having had so much cake, I decided to make a light lunch – prawn cocktail and salad. Nice!

I’m now looking at the next batch of camera gear. It’s been valued at 500 squidoodlies!

Thanks for the views, likes and subs! 🙏🏻

All the best! 🙏🏻👍🏻✌🏻

Camera gear is finding new homes and doing some good along the way. And after all that cake, the light lunch sounds like a sensible decision. 😀

My dad used to call it cake-and-wait-a-bit. He was a patient man, I think. 🤔

The coffee looks enticing. A thumbs up 👍 to your charities and choice of places.

You can add the disaster hit Nepal too. Just a thought. Ignore it if you may.
