My son, Ross, was talking about his French teacher, who is a French national. He said that her English was so good, nearly everyone who met her for the first time thought that she was English.
I said, oh yeah, and I bet she has an English sounding surname like Mrs Roberts?
He asked me if he’d told me this story before, and I said ‘no’.
That’s weird, he said, her name really is Mrs Roberts!
