What’s a common misconception people have about happiness?
I had a problem. I couldn’t find happiness. But I heard there was a man in India who could help. He was a sadhu, a holy man, who lived in a cave in a remote region of India.
I went there to seek him out. The journey was long and arduous. Eventually, I found the sadhu in his cave.
I told the sadhu that I had a problem, and that I was looking for where I could find happiness.
The sadhu closed his eyes and seemed to meditate for a moment. Then he opened his eyes, and said, “Yes, indeed, that is a problem.”
