    And…I googled how to pronounce carlisle and found out it’s silent s.🤭

      It’s a nice place and has two thousand years of history. They dig up Roman artefacts almost every day.

      You’re right about the silent ‘s’. 👍🏻 Some pronunciations are worse than that. For example, Featherstonehaugh is pronounced FAN-shaw. You couldn’t make it up. 😊
