Vincent van Gogh is never that dour
When painting sunshine, starlight or flower
But pictures of ravens fleeing their nest
Sadly, precedes a shot in the chest

        There’s the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam. Long lines to get in it, but worth the wait.

        Well, we cross the North Sea on Saturday and will be in Amsterdam on Sunday. Amsterdam gets very busy, so we’re staying in a hotel where it’s quiet, next to a cemetery. I’ll blog some photos next week of our travels. It’s exciting to go abroad.
