What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?
When I was 42, I went to my doctor and said I was afraid of dying. He said “You are going to die.” Best advice I’ve ever had from a doctor.
Now, as I approach my 68th birthday, I’m a lot more sanguine. I don’t think death is the final curtain.
And I think it’s worth pointing out what the philosopher Wittgenstein said, “Death is not an event in life.”
So live for today, and die another day…
